How do I create a product?

To get started, click on “Create New” in your dashboard or click "+ New Product" in My Music.

Product Title

Enter the title of the product. Please do not include any additional information in this field, such as the artist, additional artists or other contributors, version names, or anything else other than the actual title of the product.

Has this product been released before?

If the product has been released before, please select “yes” and the corresponding date. It must be the earliest date on which the original product was released, regardless of the releasing label or format type (e.g., LP, CD, or digital).

If your product has not been released before, please select “no.”  

Then click on “Create Product Draft.”

Cover artwork

The cover must meet the following requirements:

- Square format (at least 3000x3000 pixels)

- RGB .jpeg file only

- No CMYK, no grayscale

- Maximum size: 40 MB

The following items are NOT permitted on the cover:

- References to the physical product (CD or DVD) that does not exist in digital distribution. For example, “Bonus CD included,” “Lyrics included in booklet,” “Sticker included,” “Double CD,” etc. 

- Cover scans of physical CDs with the CD case

- Internet addresses

- A different album title or artist on the cover than in the metadata

- Images glorifying violence or pornography

- The cover must not be blurred, pixelated, inappropriate, poorly aligned, rotated, incorrect, or of poor quality.

Language of Title:

Select the language of the product title here. This refers to the language of the actual product title, not the language of the song lyrics.

Example:

• “Azzurro” – Italian
• “Greatest Hits” – English

Label Name:

Enter the name of your label here. If you don't have a label, please enter the artist name. 

Once you have entered all the information, click on “Save product” to save the product template.
